Our Presence in the Community

Social and environmental responsibility is fundamental to our values. At Natixis in Portugal, we believe in the power of sponsorships, corporate volunteering, donations, and green initiatives. By involving our employees in these efforts, we aim to give back to society effectively.
  • A Bicycle

    Green Initiatives

    We are committed to build a greener world, one step at a time. We actively participate in global awareness campaigns such as European Sustainable Development Week, European Mobility Week, European Week for Waste Reduction, and Digital Cleanup Day.

    However, our efforts go beyond that. In our office, we also encourage green mobility by providing to the Natixis community free-use bamboo bikes.
  • Natixis in Portugal Urban Garden

    Urban Garden

    We brought nature to our office by transforming a terrace into an ecological and fruitful space. We have implemented a self-sustainable urban garden on our rooftop. 100% of the products cultivated in the Natixis Urban Garden are donated to two local institutions. Since 2018, we have donated more than 1,800 kg.

    Carbon Footprint

    At Natixis in Portugal, we´re committed to promote our culture of sustainability in our daily operations, aspiring to reduce our carbon footprint by identifying best practices and pursuing continuous improvement. As part of this commitment, we conduct a detailed measurement of our carbon footprint.

    In 2025, the measurement of Natixis in Portugal was mentioned in the first Sustainability Report of Groupe BPCE

Cycling Without Age Portugal is a non-profit movement that, through trishaw rides conducted by volunteers, provides experiences for seniors and people with reduced mobility. The aim is to strengthen intergenerational bonds and promote a more humane and inclusive mobility.

Refood is a volunteer-based solidarity movement that combats food waste by rescuing surplus food in good condition and distributing it free of charge to individuals and families in need, creating a community and sustainable support network. Refood Bonfim opened its doors in July 2022.
